Whose accounts do affiliates use?

Yours. Simple Affiliate authenticates affiliates with your store’s own Shopify customer accounts — dashboard on your domain with new customer accounts, or a theme page like /pages/simple-affiliate on classic — instead of a separate vendor login. Why no Simple Affiliate vs Shopify Collabs page?

Because Collabs isn’t a third-party app to compare against: it is the creator marketplace included with Shopify, referenced in prose and linked at apps.shopify.com/collabs and shopify.com/collabs. These pages do not recommend uninstalling Shopify products such as Shopify Collabs.
