In-house program, flat monthly, Autopay + 1099s
The program runs on your store, and affiliates sign in with your Shopify customer accounts. Billing is flat, with no percentage of referred sales. Autopay moves commissions through Stripe, and eligible U.S. affiliates can receive 1099-K / 1099-NEC when IRS thresholds apply. It does not turn every buyer into an affiliate at checkout: you invite your customers and partners.

Social Snowball can offer each buyer an affiliate link right after checkout, with no application. If that conversion loop is why you bought it, and your volume pays for it, moving is a worse answer than staying. Blizzard also removes the usage charge at a higher monthly price.

At $10,000 GMV with a 10% commission, Pro with Autopay bank models at $78 and Snow Day at $549. The products also do different jobs, so compare what you need first.
Can Simple Affiliate turn every buyer into an affiliate after checkout?
No. Simple Affiliate does not hand each buyer an affiliate link at checkout. You invite customers and partners, and they join on your store. If the post-purchase loop is the job, stay on Social Snowball.
Do these pages tell me to leave Shopify Collabs?
No. Shopify Collabs is Shopify’s included creator marketplace and sits happily beside a third-party app.
Can I migrate from Social Snowball?
Often, yes. Import eligible affiliates by CSV when your paid Shopify plan, store age, and Simple Affiliate subscription meet the import safeguards.
