Why isn't the referral popup showing?

The referral popup runs in the Simple Affiliate tracker on your storefront. If the tracker is off, the popup does not appear, and automatic discounts are not issued at checkout from that visit.

Turn on Simple Affiliate Tracker in your theme's App embeds, click Save, then open a referral link on the published storefront.

Confirm popup settings

1. Complete Turn on the Simple Affiliate tracker on the Complete your setup checklist.
2. Go to Settings > Referral, open Notifications, and turn on Referral link applied (a popup when a customer opens a referral link) and Discount code applied (a popup when the link has an auto-applied discount code).
3. For standard discount codes, open the group's Discounts tab and confirm that Auto-apply discount codes when referral links are clicked is on.
4. Open a live referral link that includes the tracking code, such as sacode.
5. Confirm the customer granted cookie consent if your store requires it.

Single-use discount codes also depend on that popup: the customer clicks Claim on the storefront message after following the affiliate's link. If the popup never appears, the unique code is not claimed.
