How do I add a staff user to Simple Affiliate?

Add the person as a user in your Shopify Admin, with a role that can open Simple Affiliate. Simple Affiliate has no staff list or login of its own: each Shopify Admin user who can open Simple Affiliate from your Shopify Admin can manage your affiliate program there.

To add an affiliate instead, open Affiliates in Simple Affiliate and click Add affiliate. Affiliates sign in with your store's customer accounts, not the Shopify Admin.

Add a staff user in Shopify

1. Open Settings > Users in your Shopify Admin.
2. Click Add users.
3. Enter the person's email address.
4. Click Add.
5. Click Assign in the Roles section.
6. Choose a role that can open Simple Affiliate.
7. Click Save.

The number of users that you can add depends on your Shopify plan.

Give a role access to Simple Affiliate

A role decides which apps a user can open. To create a role for Simple Affiliate, go to Settings > Users, click Roles, and click Add role. Depending on the role category, select Apps permissions, choose Simple Affiliate in the App permissions section, and save the role. Then assign the role to the user.

After the person accepts the invitation, they open Simple Affiliate from Apps in your Shopify Admin.
