Yes. On the Pro plan and above, you can set a default commission and override it for specific products, variants, or collections. This lets you account for different margins across your catalog and gives affiliates a clear commission expectation for each referral.

How product and collection commissions work

Simple Affiliate starts with the default commission you define for your affiliate program. You can then apply different commission rules to selected products, variants, or collections instead of paying the same rate across every item.

This is useful when:

• Lower-margin products: Need a reduced commission rate.
• Hero products: Can support a higher commission to encourage promotion.
• Product groups: Share a commission rule based on collection membership.
• Variants: Require different treatment from the product’s general commission setting.

How to configure commission rules

1. Set the default commission for your affiliate program.
2. Choose the products, variants, or collections that need a different rate.
3. Apply the product-specific or collection-specific commission rule.

You can also organize affiliates into groups and give each group different commission rules. Groups are useful when partners have different commercial agreements, audiences, or promotional responsibilities. Product, variant, and collection rules can be used alongside group-based commission settings where supported by your plan configuration.

Plan availability and limits

• Pro plan: Adds product-specific commissions, including commissions for products, variants, and collections.
• Premium plan: Includes the Pro commission features, along with product attribution and other Premium features.
• Affiliate volume: Basic and higher plans do not impose the Starter plan’s affiliate, group, or link limits. You can onboard unlimited affiliates on these plans.
